Quartzite is a natural stone formed over millions of years under intense heat and pressure. It is one of the hardest stones available, extraordinarily heat-resistant, and visually stunning in a way no manufactured material can match.
No two slabs are alike. The veining, color variation, and character of quartzite is genuinely one of a kind, which is exactly why we always take clients to see the slab in person before committing. This is our premium choice, and for the right project, it is the material we love most.
The most popular countertop we install and the most misunderstood.
Quartz is non-porous, scratch-resistant, never needs sealing, and comes in an enormous range of colors and patterns. For busy kitchens and families with kids, it is often the right call.
But not all quartz is the same. The ratio of quartz to resin in the slab determines how it holds up over time, and you genuinely cannot tell the difference by looking at it in a showroom.
Why cheaper quartz can cost you more in the long run.
Lower-end quartz uses more resin to reduce cost. That resin yellows with UV and heat exposure and leaves permanent water spots because the surface is less dense. We have seen homeowners replace a full countertop within two years because of this. We only carry brands with quality ratios we trust and explain exactly which ones and why at your consultation.

Every slab is unique, which is exactly why we take every granite client to the slab yard. Selecting from a small sample is how people end up with stone that looks nothing like what they imagined in real light.

There is no countertop material that photographs better or makes a more immediate impression. We carry it, we install it, and we love the finished result when it is the right fit.
We also have an honest conversation with every client who asks about marble. It is porous. It etches when it contacts acidic liquids like lemon juice, wine, or vinegar. It requires regular sealing and more attentive care than any other material we carry. In a kitchen that sees daily cooking and busy family life, those limitations are real and worth understanding before you commit.

We come to your home, measure every surface, and talk through what you are looking for. Since you have not selected a material yet, we give you a price range for each option so you can make an informed decision about where to focus. No bait and switch quote that falsely gives you a lower number before moving forward.
For natural stone, we take you to the slab yard with your estimator. They know how many slabs your project requires and what sizes you need, so you are selecting with confidence rather than guessing. When you find what you love, we reserve those exact slabs. What you see is what gets installed.
For quartz, every slab in a color is consistent, so you can choose from our Round Rock showroom or visit a slab yard if you prefer to see the full format first.
Once your material is selected, we update the estimate to reflect the exact product and full scope of work. We schedule fabrication and installation from there. No surprises at the end.
Demo, templating, backsplash removal and replacement, sink and faucet, stovetop connections, outlet relocation, undercabinet lighting, drywall repair, and repainting of affected areas. We handle all of it. You do not call a single additional contractor.
