01

You won't be calling five different contractors.

Most countertop projects touch plumbing, electrical, drywall, tile, and painting. We handle all of it under one project manager so nothing falls between the cracks.

02

You won't shop for a slab without an expert beside you.

We take you to the slab yard, know exactly how many slabs your project needs, and help you reserve the exact stone going into your home. Not a sample that looks different in real light.

03

You won't wonder if the quality is worth the price.

We only carry materials we would install in our own homes. For quartz especially, that means brands whose quartz to resin ratios hold up over time rather than poorly made products that yellow or stain within two years.

Quartzite

The slab people fall in love with at the yard and never regret.

Quartzite is a natural stone formed over millions of years under intense heat and pressure. It is one of the hardest stones available, extraordinarily heat-resistant, and visually stunning in a way no manufactured material can match.

No two slabs are alike. The veining, color variation, and character of quartzite is genuinely one of a kind, which is exactly why we always take clients to see the slab in person before committing. This is our premium choice, and for the right project, it is the material we love most.

Quartz

The most popular countertop we install and the most misunderstood.

Quartz is non-porous, scratch-resistant, never needs sealing, and comes in an enormous range of colors and patterns. For busy kitchens and families with kids, it is often the right call.

But not all quartz is the same. The ratio of quartz to resin in the slab determines how it holds up over time, and you genuinely cannot tell the difference by looking at it in a showroom.

Why cheaper quartz can cost you more in the long run.

Lower-end quartz uses more resin to reduce cost. That resin yellows with UV and heat exposure and leaves permanent water spots because the surface is less dense. We have seen homeowners replace a full countertop within two years because of this. We only carry brands with quality ratios we trust and explain exactly which ones and why at your consultation.

Best for
Busy kitchens, families with kids and pets, anyone who wants zero maintenance
Maintenance
No sealing required. Wipe and move on.

Granite

A natural stone with decades of proven performance in Texas kitchens.

Granite is heat-resistant, hard-wearing, and available in a wide range of colors — from classic whites and creams to dramatic blacks and slate greens with heavy movement. It has proven itself in Texas homes for decades and remains one of the most practical natural stone choices at a friendlier price point than quartzite.

Every slab is unique, which is exactly why we take every granite client to the slab yard. Selecting from a small sample is how people end up with stone that looks nothing like what they imagined in real light.

Marble

Stunning. Timeless. And honest about what it asks of you.

There is no countertop material that photographs better or makes a more immediate impression. We carry it, we install it, and we love the finished result when it is the right fit.

We also have an honest conversation with every client who asks about marble. It is porous. It etches when it contacts acidic liquids like lemon juice, wine, or vinegar. It requires regular sealing and more attentive care than any other material we carry. In a kitchen that sees daily cooking and busy family life, those limitations are real and worth understanding before you commit.

For homeowners who understand the maintenance and still want it — often for a primary bath, a bar area, or a show-piece kitchen — it is a stunning choice and we are proud to install it.

The Process

We don't let you
shop blind.

Most homeowners don't realize how many variables are involved in a countertop replacement or how many trades have to coordinate to finish the job right. Here is exactly how we handle it.

1
Free in-home estimate
No obligation · Tailored to your scope
You get real numbers before you go near a slab yard.

We come to your home, measure every surface, and talk through what you are looking for. Since you have not selected a material yet, we give you a price range for each option so you can make an informed decision about where to focus. No bait and switch quote that falsely gives you a lower number before moving forward.

2
Slab selection with an expert beside you
Natural stone: slab yard visit · Quartz: showroom or slab yard
You see the exact stone going into your home before you commit.

For natural stone, we take you to the slab yard with your estimator. They know how many slabs your project requires and what sizes you need, so you are selecting with confidence rather than guessing. When you find what you love, we reserve those exact slabs. What you see is what gets installed.

For quartz, every slab in a color is consistent, so you can choose from our Round Rock showroom or visit a slab yard if you prefer to see the full format first.

3
Updated estimate and scheduling
Exact scope · Locked price
The number you sign is the number you pay.

Once your material is selected, we update the estimate to reflect the exact product and full scope of work. We schedule fabrication and installation from there. No surprises at the end.

4
We handle everything
Turnkey · One team · One contact
This is where most clients are genuinely surprised by how much is involved.

Demo, templating, backsplash removal and replacement, sink and faucet, stovetop connections, outlet relocation, undercabinet lighting, drywall repair, and repainting of affected areas. We handle all of it. You do not call a single additional contractor.

Why the backsplash almost always gets replaced too, and why that is the right call.

We hear it every week: "Can we keep the existing backsplash?" In almost every case the answer is no. New countertops change the height profile of your kitchen and old backsplash heights were cut to meet the old counter. Beyond the dimensional mismatch, a new countertop paired with an old backsplash looks half-finished. The backsplash is the first thing people notice when they walk into a kitchen. We design and install the backsplash as part of every project.

Where We Install

Countertops aren't
just for kitchens.

We install countertops wherever the project calls for them. Kitchen, bath, outdoor, or custom shower. Same crew, same standards, same single point of contact managing all of it.

Common Questions

Questions about
countertops?

The things homeowners ask us every week, answered straight and without hedging. If something is not covered here, call us at 737-260-7014.

Do I have to replace my backsplash when I get new countertops?+
In almost every case, yes. Height differences between old and new countertops mean the existing backsplash will not fit correctly. Beyond the dimensional issue, leaving an old backsplash with a new countertop is the single most common thing that makes a kitchen feel half-updated. We design and install new backsplash as part of every countertop project.
What is the difference between quartz and quartzite?+
Quartz is engineered. It is crushed quartz mixed with resin and pigment, consistent in color, non-porous, and requires no sealing. Quartzite is a natural stone formed over millions of years. It is harder than most natural stones, visually one-of-a-kind in every slab, and requires periodic sealing. Both are excellent materials. The right choice depends on your project and lifestyle.
Why does quartz quality vary so much between brands?+
The ratio of quartz to resin in the slab determines long-term performance. Lower-end products use more resin to cut cost. That resin yellows with UV exposure and leaves permanent water spots because the surface is less dense. You cannot see this difference on a showroom floor on day one. We only carry brands with quality ratios we trust and explain exactly why at your consultation.
Do you handle the plumbing and electrical work?+
Yes. Disconnecting and reconnecting plumbing under the sink, relocating outlets, and installing undercabinet lighting are all part of the scope we manage. You do not need to hire a separate plumber or electrician for the work associated with your countertop project.
Can I keep my existing sink?+
Sometimes. It depends on the sink style, mounting method, and condition. We evaluate this at the in-home estimate and let you know whether your existing sink works with your new countertop or whether a replacement makes more sense. We handle all sink and faucet installation either way.
How long does a countertop project take?+
Kitchen countertop and backsplash projects typically take 5 to 10 days depending on complexity. Bathroom vanity projects usually run one to two days. Outdoor kitchen countertops are similar. Custom shower wall projects vary by scope. We give you a realistic timeline at the estimate stage and not a best-case number that changes after you commit.
Is marble a good choice for a kitchen?+
It depends on the kitchen and the homeowner. Marble is porous and etches when it contacts acidic liquids. For a kitchen that sees daily cooking and busy family life, that is a real limitation worth understanding. For homeowners who are fully aware of the maintenance and still want it, it is a beautiful choice and we are proud to install it. We always have this conversation honestly before anyone signs anything.
Can you do countertops in a bathroom or outdoor kitchen?+
Absolutely. We install countertops in kitchens, bathroom vanities, outdoor kitchens, and as wall surfaces in custom showers. We select materials appropriate for each application and handle the full project scope regardless of location.
